Just ask this Kansas woman who actually set up her campsite right in the store itself. Thanks to a TikTok video posted by the account @MammaKrisKanas, viewers get to see the woman’s setup firsthand. The video is currently rising in popularity with almost 2K views and climbing. However, the person who posted the video seems to think the situation is just very funny.
The TikTok begins with a woman telling her camera that she “can’t make this up.” As she continues in disbelief about what she has read, the woman explains that a lady in Kansas has set up her own campsite inside a Walmart, and the craziest part is, she had an actual fire lit inside the store.
Kansas Woman Cooks on Open Flame in Walmart
The campsite was allegedly set up in the sporting goods aisle of the store, probably to give it that authentic outdoor feeling. The photo shared in the video clearly shows a woman sitting on the floor, cooking on an open flame. The woman’s comment section also seemed to be just as confused as she was regarding what was going on. “The world has gone mad,” wrote one via a TikTok comment.
While a woman setting up camp and cooking her dinner inside the store wasn’t crazy enough, the fire department was also reportedly called due to the open flame. The photo also shows a pile of trash and some kind of handbag beside the woman as she sits down. As the TikTok continues, the woman explains that she has no idea who the Walmart camper is. However, she also theorizes that she may have some mental issues. Although nothing has been confirmed at this time.
