Apparently, people take Disney World attractions very seriously. The Hall of Presidents is a popular attraction where you can visit current and former US Presidents and hear their animatronics speak. It sounds like a creepy puppet show from someone who’s never seen it. A woman who was visiting Disney World in Florida was shocked when she visited the attraction and found something she didn’t like. To her, it was a total disrespect of Trump and Disney should “do better.”
“Do better, Disney. Regardless of political affiliation, presidents deserve respect for all the sacrifice made to do the job. Disappointed,” the caption reads in Cherie’s TikTok video. She appears on screen, wondering how Trump’s two terms would be handled. She then says they ‘skipped’ the presidency between Obama and Joe Biden. While all the other presidents had somebody else announcing them, he announced himself. She said, “For whatever reason… That’s very frustrating to us,“ so apparently she doesn’t even know why she’s upset.
Cherie goes on to say, “I think every President deserves a certain level of respect just for the hard work they put in.” Her husband then chimes in, “I think it’s pretty sad.” They look completely flustered and disappointed with the way his presidency was handled. Commenters were quick to call Cherie a snowflake because, well, she was kind of being one. One commenter stated, “It’s not the Hall of Dictators Babe.”
“Referring to the Hall of Presidents as ‘one of our favorite things to do at Disney’ tells me everything I need to know,” one commenter said. You’re at the world’s most famous park and you picked the most boring part. The one at the White House is cooler, anyway!
Cherie and her husband tried to blow off the comments and act like it didn’t affect them. In an update post, she said, “Us headed home, completely unbothered by the thousands of comments of hate and riotous behavior from people we have never met.” Apparently, she considers it hate when people point out how silly it was to care so much about the Trump animatronic. Talk about making a big deal out of nothing!
