Drivers on Interstate 40 in Oklahoma City were left stunned when they saw something that looked like it belonged in a Hollywood blockbuster: a jail transport van racing down the highway with a shirtless inmate dangling from a shattered rear window, flailing in the wind.

Eyewitnesses said the van was weaving through traffic when the prisoner suddenly appeared, his torso jutting out into the air, his hands clawing for something to hold on to. Some drivers honked in shock, while others pulled out their phones to capture the scene.
Tiggin Martin, who posted one of the most-viewed clips, told reporters:
“I saw him hanging out; it looked like he might fall off. People were screaming from their cars. It didn’t look safe for anybody.”
