Prince Andrew may soon find himself at the center of yet another scandal, as sources claim a trove of more than 100 secret emails linking him to Jeffrey Epstein could be made public. According to The Daily Mail, the U.S. Congress is currently reviewing hundreds of thousands of documents known as the “Epstein Files.” Within them are said to be potentially incriminating communications between the Duke of York and the convicted sex offender, messages that insiders believe could “destroy” Andrew’s reputation for good.

One insider didn’t mince words, warning that the fallout could be devastating for the prince.
“If you think what’s happened to Peter Mandelson is bad then you have no idea what will happen when the Andrew emails are released,” the individual said. “They are embarrassing and incriminating and he could be destroyed.” The reference points to Lord Mandelson, who was recently forced out of his role as Britain’s ambassador to Washington after a series of humiliating emails with Epstein came to light, including one where Mandelson urged Epstein to fight back against his conviction for soliciting a child for prostitution.
Prince Andrew Already Entangled In Legal Disputes
Prince Andrew’s history with Epstein has already caused lasting damage to his public life. He was stripped of his royal patronages and military titles in 2022 after settling a sexual assault lawsuit brought by Virginia Giuffre, who accused him of being sex-trafficked to the prince by Epstein. Andrew has vehemently denied Giuffre’s claims. However, high-powered attorney David Boies, who represented Giuffre, has suggested there is enough evidence to warrant a fresh criminal investigation into the prince.
While these newly uncovered emails remain sealed for now, Andrew’s prior correspondence with Epstein has already proven embarrassing. Court documents tied to the Financial Conduct Authority’s case against Epstein’s personal banker, Jes Staley, unearthed a February 2011 email in which Andrew wrote, “Keep in close touch and we’ll play some more soon!!” Though the document referred only to “a member of the British Royal Family,” outlets including the BBC reported the sender was Andrew.
Past Emails Already Paint A Troubling Picture
Sources suggest the forthcoming revelations could go even further. Some of the emails are believed to involve not just Epstein, but also Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted in 2021 of sex trafficking minors for the disgraced financier. “There are potentially incriminating emails between Andrew, Epstein and Maxwell which haven’t come out yet,” one insider claimed. “Andrew was in regular contact with Maxwell by email and Epstein used email to coordinate trafficking of his victims. If I were Andrew I’d be very worried. Look what the emails did to Mandelson.”

For years, Andrew has struggled to shake off the shadow cast by his relationship with Epstein, a scandal that forced his withdrawal from public royal duties. If these new emails are released, and prove as damaging as sources suggest, the fallout could be catastrophic, not just for Andrew personally, but for the Royal Family’s already fragile public image.
