With so many limitations and restrictions on things, people feel helpless over getting the care they need. According to healthcare workers, everything is changing in the industry. As one healthcare worker in Texas says, “No matter what you do, the government and insurance changes things left and right.” This makes patient care even more difficult and, because of it, the people in our country are suffering. It really shows you how little America cares about those who live here.
“They are putting the elderly and disabled out of Nursing Homes!” TikToker Life of Dee wrote in the caption of her video. In her video, she tries to determine the end goal of the current Trump administration. She is clearly disgusted after discussing an interaction she had with one of her clients. Her client was born with a congenital disease. Unfortunately, he hasn’t had a disability check since the beginning of the year when the new Administration took over.
The reason why this is so dangerous and absurd is that, as Dee says, he has “no funding for his stay in a rehab facility.” According to her, no one in the Trump administration believes anyone needs funding for their disabilities, especially people who can’t work. So, what happens to them? Well, then they would be considered people who aren’t worth their time. Dee fears something “more sinister” will happen since many can’t “feed themselves,” as Dee put it.
“We all know what the end goal is,” one commenter said. “They want people to die. Anyone that needs anything and doesn’t work and pay taxes. Stephen Miller actually said out loud that they want to whittle the population down from 330 mil to 100 mil. That’s the elderly. Disabled. They also want as many people as possible to wind up homeless. They’re criminalizing homelessness. Lock people up and farm them out to companies for slave labor.”
The sad truth is, these things once sounded like conspiracies. Now they sound like reality. I’m often reminded how it’s cheaper to actually take care of the homeless with free healthcare than it is to treat them in the emergency room. Where’s the harm in helping these people?
