Finding a partner is no longer the same, and many attribute this to social media or dating apps. Others say that the options for partners have hit rock bottom. One example is this woman from Illinois, who is fed up with men trying to “humble her.” No one should try to humble others, but this technique is essentially about trying to humiliate someone in front of others for no good reason.
On her TikTok, @ladyaguilera2.0 shared a story time with a terrible guy, but the problem goes much deeper than that. This woman from Illinois begins by saying that men should stop trying to humble women, as they are too comfortable doing so. According to her story, she says she was talking to a guy who worked in the building next to her workplace. At his workplace, she would go to the bathroom to change her work clothes for something more comfortable. This happened so often that she became friends with the person at the desk and the security guard. One day, when @ladyaguilera2.0 was talking to her friends, a man came in and interrupted the conversation.
It’s not that the guy interrupted when her friends were asking her something. The bigger problem is what this man told OP: “Oh, babe, you need to start hitting the gym.” This shocked OP, and the guy still continued saying, “You have a punch right here, but I can help you with that.” The man laughed, prompting the woman to ask him to back off and take back what he had told her. Then she essentially told him she no longer wanted to talk to him.
‘Male loneliness epidemic. Yeah, I can’t imagine why ๐๐’ said Danielle Renee.
I thought that by 2025, we would have left behind the idea that boys who bother girls do so because they like them. However, things have evolved for the worse.
‘It’s called negging, they try to make you feel self-conscious in the hopes you’ll feel crappy enough to sleep with them,’ explained โกแดรฏษดแดสรธษดแด๊ฑโก.
Regardless of your gender, randomly insulting someone, no matter how “harmless” or well-intentioned it may seem, is best avoided. Plus, when it comes from a stranger, it can even come across as creepy. I don’t even want to know if this technique of humiliating someone to get a date is actually effective for these people.
