At a rally in Oregon, a cameraman targeted a man over his shirt, showing how one outfit could spark chaos and nationwide reactions. In a video posted by the victim of this attack on Reddit, a group of people could be seen holding a rally in honor of the late Charlie Kirk. Some carried placards while others held flags. A cameraman present at the scene was taking shots when he suddenly turned back and said to someone, “Hey, you know you are f**king retarded, right?” The man immediately responded, “Kiss me, baby.”
Without stopping, the cameraman told him if he had ever heard of taking it to the ballot box instead of rioting before calling him a “piece of sh*t.” The man replied, asking why he was “aggravated.” The cameraman fired back immediately, “Nah, you are a f**king moron, who thinks the ICE is a Gestapo, you are a fucking idiot.”
Another man at the rally disagreed with the cameraman’s claim that the man was a moron. Instead, he declared, “I agree; we need the Gestapo.” “Love you, brother,” he added as he moved on with the rally. The accompanying caption to the video gave more context. The man being shouted at explained that he posed no threat, as he was merely standing with a media outlet. “All I had was a shirt that said, ‘ICE is the Gestapo,'” he concluded.
As expected, netizens stormed the comments section, reacting to the incident. “So much hate in their hearts,” someone wrote, while another added, “it’s what seemingly keeps them beating.” Another insulted their credibility, writing, “Look at these losers. Couldn’t even make their own lives great. MAGA is such a fucking joke.”
“Loser brigade,” someone sharply added. Another described them as sadists, commenting, “What a sad-looking group of people. They know they are in the wrong :).” Confused by their anger over the shirt and dismissing their emotions, another remarked, “Dunno why they get so mad at the shirt. What do I do when I see someone with a trump t-shirt or hat? I carry on living my life. So much anger in these people.” Sarcastically, one wrote, “When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in an American flag and carrying a cross.”
Finally, someone wrapped up the dragging of the group with a cutting description,
“It’s literally the walking wounded. These people are what you get when you put a loaf of white bread, a Jason Aldean CD, a melted urinal cake from an I-44 rest stop, COPD, squirrel vittles, social security disability and Daisy May Moses in the Large Hadron Collider and smash them together at near light speed.”
In the end, what began as a rally turned into a viral moment that exposed the hostility of some people.
