We all know that the so-called “Alpha Males” are a modern plague, and unfortunately, there are places out there that encourage this cringeworthy behaviour. One of these places is located in Southern California, and it is an Alpha Male boot camp that gives you a certificate, but only if you pay $18,000 first. You read that right, a piece of paper that says you’re an “Alpha” will cost you a fortune, and the actual experience inside this place is hell on Earth, but well, participants kind of deserve it.
The hilarious and, at times, cringeworthy footage comes from the r/InflatedEgos subreddit, where we can see a bunch of men inside a Southern California Alpha Male boot camp. And no, it isn’t a joke. It is a cult-like place where a bunch of men go through horrible scenarios and exercises just to go home with an ego-inflating certificate.
In the video, you can see a compilation of the staff of this “Alpha Male” boot camp, showcasing how it treats its to-be-Alpha participants. The staff belittles them at every turn, telling them they are a disappointment, pieces of sh*t, and even takes a shot at their family members, saying they don’t need them at all.
When not screaming at them, the staff members put the campers through several strange-looking activities, including holding each other’s arms as they lay on the sand and wait for the waves to hit their heads, getting dragged down a muddy hill by staff members, and apparently eating a cookie while other members crawl toward them. It is challenging to find a logical basis for these activities, as they all seem to be a means of subjecting participants to taxing physical and mental challenges. But hey, it’s their 18k, so I guess they knew what they were paying for.
In any case, Redditors who say this cringe-fest had a lot to say about it, and make fun of this “Alpha Male” boot camp.

Ultimately, everyone is free to do whatever they want with their earnings. However, this is undoubtedly a waste of time and money. Hopefully, this footage will prevent other men from joining this boot camp, but who are we kidding? Asking a wanna-be Alpha Male to make a sane decision is almost impossible, so we’ll likely see another cringe batch of graduates in the coming months.
