Cardi B has been having it rough as of late, from the recent lawsuit with a security guard to her ongoing divorce problems with rapper Offset. Speaking of her manipulative ex-husband, it’s been revealed that the “Ric Flair Drip” singer is forcing her to pay his taxes, as well as demanding one of her properties in exchange for finalizing the divorce. The Anyways, Life’s Great artist has spilled the beans during a live chat with her fans on her X/Twitter Space.
“The only way I can get out of my marriage is if I pay for somebody else’s taxes, even though I pay for my own, and give them one of my properties,” Cardi B remarked, clearly frustrated with her situation with Offset. She continued, saying how she’s practically still married because the rapper wants to “hold me hostage if I don’t give them millions of dollars.”
The two have split before in 2018 but gotten back together only to separate again in 2024. Since Offset did his ‘bouquet ambush’ on Cardi B several years ago to win back her heart, people have always found him to be manipulative and nothing but trouble for the Am I the Drama? singer. “He had his rapper friends in her comments telling her to take him back too,” a Redditor remarks in response to how Offset had been putting immense public pressure on Cardi B for them to be a couple. But now, people are seeing the rapper for what he really is: a cheater looking to leech off his ex’s financial success.

She commented on how ironic it is that Offset released the song “Move On,” which is clear about moving on from a breakup — his breakup, specifically. Yet, he still can’t seem to ‘move on’ himself, as he tries his hardest to milk the divorce for all its worth. At the very least, Cardi B’s fans have her back.
