An Arizona man pulled back the digital curtain on Charlie Kirk’s memorial, and the numbers speak for themselves. He revealed the insane traffic on a certain gay dating app at the State Farm Stadium during the event. According to a viral TikTok video, the update was made in response to a viewer’s request to be informed about activity on the Grindr app during the memorial attended by President Donald Trump and other prominent Republicans.
“Well, ask and you shall receive… sort of,” the TikToker began, explaining that the screenshot he posted showed the activity of another popular app similar to Grindr itself, but another “non-popular app listed in the comments, but another app called Sniffies. The screenshot from the viral TikTok showed the rate of activity at State Farm Stadium, with the user icons blurred out to protect their identities.
The Arizona man stated that “This is the Cardinal Stadium at ten o’clock.” Even though the people had been blurred out, a cluster of active icons could be seen at the location, signifying high usage of the app. “A little suspicious,” he concluded. In the comment section, he clarified the app he was referring to, writing, “It’s actually the Sniffies app(which is the freakier version of Grindr).“
The revelation opened up a barrage of sarcastic comments. One TikTok user quipped, “They went to a funeral to hook up?!!” Another teased, “The call had always been coming from the inside.” Others took a more reflective approach, as a user shared their opinion that what one spends time thinking about eventually influences their desires. “I think hate often becomes obsession. You spend your whole life thinking about any group, and it will probably seep into your sexual desires,” they stated.
“Regardless of what dating app is being used, I’m sure this isn’t biblically approved,” a user noted about whether it was Grindr or Sniffies that was shown in the video. “I’m sure they were seeking someone to help them grieve, lol,” they mocked. A TikToker considered it a more serious issue, writing, “They love to hate anyone different, but secretly hate themselves.”
Sharing the same sentiment, a user wrote, “I’ve thought about this for a while, they go after people living their truth because they feel like they can’t.” The bizarre revelation mirrored the unusually high traffic on the Grindr app, which was reportedly noticed in Milwaukee during the 2024 Republican National Convention, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
It can’t be a coincidence two times, can it?
