The video starts off with the woman accusing the camerawoman of being an illegal immigrant. She insisted that the camerawoman couldn’t possibly live in Flower Mound and even found a problem with her doing DoorDash. As if that wasn’t enough, she then accused the woman of driving an illegal car.
After letting the Karen rant for a while, the camerawoman finally responded, though she chose not to answer in English. That immediately triggered the racist Karen, who began demanding that she “speak English.” The Texas woman then told the camerawoman to “go back to Mexico” if she wanted to speak another language. Not stopping there, she accused the woman of taking away jobs that supposedly belonged to Americans.
The Texas woman eventually walked toward the back of the car to snap a photo of the license plate, then, annoyed at being recorded, shoved her phone in the camerawoman’s face. Despite the ugly confrontation, as the woman left, the camerawoman still managed to say “thank you.” The video ends there, leaving viewers with a truly frustrating and confusing interaction with a textbook racist Karen.
Internet users were quick to sympathize with the camerawoman for having to deal with such a racist person. “She needs to watch less Fox and Newsmax, it’s making her too angry,” one user said.
Others questioned why the racist Karen even had an issue with DoorDash in the first place since literally anyone with a car can become a driver. “They don’t even steal jobs, they’re given jobs by greedy businesses that want the cheapest labor available. Get mad at the bosses, they are the enemy of all working people,” another commenter wrote.
Some found humor in the hypocrisy, pointing out that the racist Karen claimed the camerawoman was “up in her face” while she was the one aggressively confronting someone who was just calmly sitting in their car. “‘I can get in your face too,’ she says to the person calmly sitting inside a vehicle,” one Redditor noted.
Others decided to poke fun at the racist Karen’s speech patterns since she repeatedly started her sentences with “you know what,” to the point where people started questioning her ability to string a thought together.
“You know what!? She is trying her best but her high blood pressure makes it hard to yell without getting winded and her fat folds are cutting off blood to her brain,” one person joked.
