In a bizarre event in Maryland, an ICE agent showed his incompetence in handling his weapon with no regard for bystanders. A video posted on Reddit showed two ICE officers forcefully pinning a man, actively resisting, as they tried to arrest him. They were in the middle of the road, using both their hands and bodies to pin the victim flat on the ground.
One ICE agent was seen holding a gun, while another gripped the victim’s neck firmly and pulled out a handcuff from his pocket in an attempt to arrest him. The victim screamed nonstop as the ICE agent, determined to subdue him, tucked the gun into his waistband to free both hands for the struggle.
As the scuffle intensified, the agent tried to reach for his gun, but it slipped from his waistband. Both he and the victim reached for it, with the victim reaching it first and hitting further away. The officer then stretched to grab the gun, but forgot the magazine on the ground.
Rising to his feet, he pointed the weapon as though ready to shoot, leaving the magazine on the ground, while passers-by were apprehensive. At some point, he even stepped on it, but refused to pick it up. From behind the camera, a bystander’s voice could be heard repeatedly shouting, “Put the gun down!” The same person then asked, “What’s your name?” Receiving no clear response as the officer was only speaking inaudibly to his radio, the bystander snapped, “F***ing nuts.”
Meanwhile, the victim on the ground shouted frantically, “I am American, I love you, American!” as he continued to struggle for release. The ICE agent, still gripping his gun, spoke into his radio while panting heavily, directing nearby vehicles on where to pass. Unfortunately, the alarm raised by witnesses wasn’t enough to stop ICE from whisking the victim away.
