Where are the parents?

With social media apps only continuing to rise in popularity, it’s easy for anyone to post pretty much anything online. Apps like TikTok have become a hotbed for public freak-outs, racism, and, of course, bad parenting. Unfortunately for this Missouri woman, she would have an insane encounter with an unsupervised toddler she found on the side of the road. The video already has over 2 million views, with 45,000 likes, as it has officially hit viral status.

The TikTok was posted to the account @Rissaross22 and shows the moment the woman came across this lost child. The text on the video reads “Here is the actual video from this morning.” In the clip, the Missouri woman can be seen getting out of her parked car to attempt to talk to the child. Luckily, the road didn’t seem very busy as it was early in the morning. The woman in the video can be heard frantically trying to talk to the child, as she repeatedly asks, “Where is mommy?” The child seems a little frightened, and understandably so.

Missouri TikTok Woman Stops For Lost Kid

As the clip cuts off, the woman states that she will have to call 911. Although the account would post a follow-up TikTok, giving a little more context to the situation. In the second video, the Missouri woman explains that she has no clue how long the kid was out there for. However, the fact that he wasn’t wearing any shoes or pants seems to confuse many in the comment section. While it is unknown how long the child was running around without supervision, the woman in the video claims this isn’t even the first time this has happened.

The TikToker states she was dropping her daughter off when another woman told her she’d seen the same child. The girl would also allegedly state that “The mom didn’t seem to care.” The older woman says in the video that she got the same vibe when she talked to the boy’s mother. She then confirms she called the police and made her suspicions known.

This was a truly terrifying experience for the Missouri woman, and probably the child as well. However, things could have ended much worse. Hopefully, for the safety of the child, his parents will not allow something like this to happen again. Luckily, this kind woman was able to stop and get the child the help he needed at the time.
