These days, whenever people hear news about ICE agents, it is often connected to stories of harassment or abuse of power. However, in this instance, the situation is quite the opposite. An ICE officer traveling from Miami, Florida, found himself in serious trouble after being pulled over by police for allegedly driving under the influence. To make matters worse, he reportedly had his two children in the car at the time.

When officers stopped the vehicle, they began asking basic questions such as where he was coming from and where he was going, but the ICE agent struggled to give clear answers. Despite the obvious signs that he was in trouble, the man remained oddly confident, even telling the officer that he worked for the Department of Homeland Security as if that would excuse his behavior. When the officer continued to ask questions and eventually told him to step out of the car, the ICE agent became increasingly uncooperative.

The officer then asked the key question, whether or not he had been drinking. The Miami man grew tense and defensive, especially when the officer pointed out that he appeared intoxicated. When it came time to perform a field sobriety test, the ICE agent tried to change the subject, claiming he had been through a lot because of his job. He said people had shot at him and tried to kill him because he worked for ICE, presenting himself as a victim of circumstance. He even pleaded with the officer to let him go, but it did not work.

Eventually, the officer concluded that the Miami man was indeed driving under the influence and placed him under arrest. As he was being handcuffed, the ICE agent tried to gain sympathy, saying he had children and was going through a divorce. The officer stayed calm and professional, telling him that he had to take responsibility for his actions. At one point, the man even appeared to fake crying, but it did not change the outcome.

When the video surfaced online, many viewers expressed a sense of satisfaction at seeing an ICE agent face consequences for once. After months of watching viral clips of ICE officers mistreating others without accountability, some people felt that this incident was poetic justice.

One Reddit user wrote, “Deport him to El Salvador. I hear it is nice this time of year.” Others criticized the man’s attempt to play the victim, noting the irony of him pleading for mercy. “He kept saying, ‘Please, my kids!’” another commenter wrote. “Funny how that line hits differently when it is coming from someone who has heard it from the people he has arrested.”

Many also mocked the agent for trying to use his government job as a shield, with one person commenting, “He really thought mentioning DHS would get him out of a DUI. Not this time.”
