Recently, a woman from Santa Ana, California, was involved in a minor accident with a drunk driver who collided with her vehicle. Thankfully, the Santa Ana woman was unharmed and quickly exited her car to confront the other driver. With her phone ready to record, she asked the woman questions, but the drunk driver struggled to respond coherently. When the Santa Ana woman pointed out that the driver appeared to be drunk, the other woman denied it, despite her obvious intoxication.
When asked whether she had insurance or identification, the drunk driver admitted she had neither. The camerawoman then questioned why she was driving without these essential documents, but the driver insisted that she hadn’t been driving at all, even though she was clearly sitting in the driver’s seat. Her response only confirmed her drunken state.
Another clear sign of her intoxication was an open can of beer in the car. It was evident that the woman had been drinking while driving. Despite this, the drunk driver continued to insist that she wasn’t at fault, claiming that the Santa Ana woman had stopped suddenly, which allegedly caused the collision. However, her intoxication likely prevented her from noticing the red light at the intersection.
At one point, the camerawoman remarked that the driver had bad breath, likely trying to hint at her drunkenness. This comment angered the driver, who began cursing at the Santa Ana woman. As if that weren’t enough, the drunk driver then attempted to drive away, only to crash into another vehicle, causing yet another accident.
It’s safe to say that nobody believed the drunk driver’s excuses. Many internet users who watched the video quickly noticed the open can of beer in her car and mocked her for it. “Another Modelo commercial,” one user joked. Others criticized her for driving under the influence, with some demanding that her license be revoked. “Come on now. She needs her license revoked. She’s literally drinking with open cans next to her. What a selfish woman!” one comment read.
