The world of sports can sometimes be a very chaotic one. However, it is always important to remember to remain calm and composed in times of adversity. However, that is not what this Texas youth volleyball coach would do, as a TikTok posted to the account @Tabatha.Fay shows this coach’s unnecessary “Crash out.” The video has around 31,000 likes and 348,00 views as it has officially reached viral status.
The TikTok starts off with the game of youth volleyball already underway. However, it is clear from the beginning that the Texas woman who was the head coach was not very happy. As the game progresses, the coach can be seen screaming at one player in particular, seemingly for no apparent reason. The young girl would also seem visibly upset by the interaction, as it happened more than once in the short span of the TikTok. Parents can also be heard in the clip discussing whether or not the coach was being too hard on the young girl.
TikTok Reacts To Texas Volleyball Coach’s Crash Out
The video comment section was also unsurprisingly not pleased with the way the coach had handled things. “This kind of coaching ruins volleyball for so many kids,” wrote one. “Yeah, I would have quit playing,” said another. Finally, one other stated, “It’s not that serious,” regarding the middle school volleyball game. It appears as though most of the video’s comments are not happy about how the coach navigated that situation.
However, in a follow-up Story Time TikTok video, another Texas woman shares her side of the story. The woman was allegedly in the crowd for the game; however, it is unknown if she filmed the original video or not. The second TikTok starts off with a woman sitting in her car, replying to a comment from the first video. She then begins to say that the coach had been upset with the officiating all game long. Although after the other team would allegedly hit the ball four times, things would get crazy.
However, a comment on the second video would seemingly put a lot of things into perspective. “Middle school coach here,” one wrote. “There are plenty of ways to get your message across. Freaking out on middle schoolers is not it. This is where they learn the love for the game. The rest will fall into place.”
The woman in the follow-up TikTok would then state that the coach is not a bad one, she just had “A bad moment.” Hopefully, the Texas youth volleyball coach can take this moment and learn from it. At the end of the day, these are just children, and they are just playing a game.
