California ‘Halloween Grinch’ Has Unhinged Reaction to Neighbor’s Decorations: ‘She Wasn’t Embarrassed Doing It’

Somebody must hate Halloween

Halloween is supposed to be a time for children to dress up and get a ton of candy. However, this California woman had other plans in mind. In a TikTok posted to the account @ksbw_8, social media users see the “Halloween Grinch” vandalizing an innocent person’s yard and knocking over their spooky decorations. The video now has over 16,000 views and 300 likes, as it continues to gain traction online.

The TikTok starts off with some Ring Doorbell camera footage. In the video, a view of the street, sidewalk, and the homeowner’s yard can be seen. However, once an older woman walks past, she can be seen eyeballing the Halloween decorations in the yard. Although the first time around, she would walk off-screen for a moment before coming back. Once she was back in the shot of the camera, the California woman punched one of the decorations. This causes it to fall down, as the woman then walks off. However, her reign of terror is only just beginning here. Just a few seconds after the initial attack, the woman is back again to take care of the rest of the decorations, as she knocks them all to the ground.

A woman in Salinas has been caught on camera twice vandalizing Halloween witch decorations on a home’s front lawn by punching them, with incidents occurring on October 11 and again on Tuesday morning. Ring camera footage from Tuesday morning shows a woman lightly jogging past the house’s front yard before turning back, rolling up her sleeves, and jogging up the lawn to strike one of the witch decorations with an open fist. After running off, she returns to use her elbows to hit the remaining two witches.

TikTok Reacts to California Halloween Hater

The TikTok’s comment section was just as confused as everyone else in this situation, as they took to the app to let their feelings be known. “Why blur her face? She wasn’t embarrassed doing it,” wrote one. “How embarrassing, somebody will recognize her,” said another. Finally, one other stated, “Nahh, show her face.”

The homeowner would then make an appearance in the video to give a little more story behind the actions. The woman states that he just wants it to stop, and that’s understandable. She continues by stating how much the kids and her neighbors enjoy the decorations, as well. Although it is unclear what the motive behind the vandalism was, whoever is responsible must hate Halloween.

Unfortunately, the California woman responsible has not yet been identified. However, with the amount of traction this TikTok video has been gaining, her identity most likely won’t remain a mystery for long. Comments on the video are already asking social media users to “Do their thing,” and find out who this is. Although for now, the motive could be anything. Hopefully, the woman has learned her lesson after being posted online, so the homeowner can sleep soundly yet again. Halloween is supposed to be a fun holiday for the kids, and one “Grinch” won’t be enough to stop that.
