A neighbor dispute over a shared driveway in Salina, Kansas, reached epic proportions. Reportedly, an angry woman, described as a “Karen,” has called the police on her neighbor about 97 times, prompting endless verbal altercations with the man next door and the police themselves.
A compilation posted by TikTok user Hazel Eleanor and made by It’s Gone Viral shows the drama and constant harassment user ChukBoom, real name Charles, has claimed to have suffered at the hands of his neighbor, an unnamed woman.
The video starts with Charles recording two different vehicles parked in the Kansas driveway he shared with his neighbor. Apparently, none of the vehicle owners live at the location, and they are blocking his car from exiting the driveway.
“Now I’m about to try and leave, and if there’s any type of problems, it’s gonna be problems,” the man said in the video.
Whether he is a fortune teller who correctly predicted what happened next, or if he has grown tired of an exhausting situation, problems still happen. A standoff ensued between the man’s partner and a white vehicle, which, for whatever reason, slowly moved out of the way.
97 Police Calls, Statement, Reactions
Turns out, this has been happening for months. Many clips shared by Charles show him interacting with responding police officers who received noise complaints, reportedly from the woman. One Salina Police Department officer even went as far as to say that her constant complaints are a form of harassment, both for the man and law enforcement agents.
While the exact number of times the woman has called the police is unknown, Charles revealed his Karen neighbor has called the police on him “97 times during that year.” Furthermore, the woman allegedly placed a Protection from Abuse (PFA) order against the man.
“She wants me to be 500 feet away from her house at all times,” the man explained to an officer. “So anything I do on this side of the fence bothers her.”
The most recent update shared by Charles has him reading an alleged statement issued by the woman. According to her, “Charles is suing the videos that he take [sic] of me and whoever is with me to gain popularity online.” Moreover, the written document even accused Charles of “working on a deal with A&E Network to make money off of these videos.”
Users online overwhelmingly were in support of Charles, bashing the angry Karen for her behavior.
“‘The perfect neighbor’ all over again,” one user wrote. A second one commented, “97 times to not be arrested for wasting resources.” A third one added, “First problem was buying a home with a shared driveway.”
By the looks of it, this Kansas neighbor drama is far from over.
