We all know that reaching the highest power level in Destiny 2 is a steep climb, but don’t worry, because the Call to Arms event is here. Assuming you don’t know what this is about or missed last week’s TWID, this limited-time event will allow players to participate in different activities and then earn a bunch of gear to prepare for the next season. Fortunately, the steps to do so are extremely easy, and there are even activities for players who enjoy PvE, PvP, or both. Below is a guide on how to participate in the event and all the rewards you can obtain.

Like with other events in Destiny 2, at least after the addition of the Portal UI in The Edge of Fate, you can start this one by either heading to the Portal or the Tower. As usual, we recommend doing the latter because you’ll need to go there anyway for the quest, so it’s two birds with one stone.

In any case, once you start the event, you’ll have to attune your Guardian to any of the seven weapons and then just run a few matches to possibly obtain that gun, sword, or combat bow.

In terms of activities, you can do the following to obtain Call to Arms Weapon Engrams:

  • Cutting Edge: Zone Control (PvP)
  • The Salt Mines (PvE)
  • The Coil (PvE)
  • Proving Grounds (PvE)

At first, you’ll only be able to play the first two, with the last two becoming available once you complete the event’s quest.

Weapons

As we said above, there are seven weapons you can obtain during the Call to Arms event in Destiny 2. Like previous events, you can also obtain their holofoil variant if you’re lucky enough.

  • Submersion (Stasis Combat Bow)
    • Contending Cascade
    • High-Impact Frame
  • Romantic Death (Void Grenade Launcher)
    • Tenacity
    • Wave Frame
  • Folded Root (Void Rocket Launcher)
    • Tenacity
    • Aggressive Frame
  • Phoneutria Fera (Solar Hand Cannon)
    • Tenacity/Hakke Breach Armaments
    • Spread Shot
  • Trachinus (Stasis Shotgun)
    • Tenacity/Veist Stinger
    • Rapid Fire Slug
  • Synanceia (Solar Sword)
    • Tenacity/Hakke Breach Armaments
    • Wave Sword Frame
  • Ribbontail (Strand Trace Rifle)
    • Tenacity
    • Omolon Fluid Dynamics
    • Adaptive Frame

You can obtain these weapons by opening the Calls to Arms Weapon Engrams, by participating in event activities, or by opening your Daily Chest at the Tower. If you keep getting Contender Points, you’ll be able to claim better rewards from the special chest at the end of the event.

Rank Rewards

With the next season upon us, the Call to Arms event in Destiny 2 is the perfect way to catch up on gear. If you really want that power level boost, try to participate in all of these activities as much as you can. Also, remember that the event runs from November 11 to November 25, so mark your calendars so you don’t miss the gear-farming.
