A woman in New Jersey suddenly found that multiple ICE agents were knocking on her door, probably willing to take her with them. Unfortunately for them, the woman knows her rights as a U.S. citizen and managed to get them to leave, not before she called them demons.
The brief, albeit satisfying, interaction between the woman and the federal agents was shared by NowThis Impact on TikTok. From the get-go, the woman wasn’t having any of it and immediately told ICE that they had no business being at her doorstep.
As ICE was knocking on her door, an “expensive door” according to the woman, she immediately asked for a judge-signed warrant. The ICE agents, of course, had no such warrant in their possession.
“Let me tell you something right now,” the woman is heard saying. “Get out of my house or we’re gonna have a problem. You don’t have no warrant, you gotta stop talking.”
The woman went on to explain she is a U.S. citizen, “born and raised in New Jersey,” adding that they have the wrong house. She continued asking for the signed warrant multiple times, and the ICE agents appeared confused, probably asking what a warrant is. Regardless, the brave woman continued bashing the agents, repeating that she is a U.S. citizen and they have no business knocking on her door.
ICE Agents Defeated, Reactions
As the woman wouldn’t budge, the ICE agents started to leave her residence. Four agents, defeated, are seen walking toward the street, empty-handed and humiliated. Meanwhile, the woman called them “demons” and “sellouts.”
Many reacted to the video, which garnered more than 2.3 million likes and more than 8K comments. Most users bashed the ICE agents, already fed up with the constant harassment many are facing across the country.
“Omg they all look so sad walking away,” one user commented. A second one asked, “Are they knocking on random doors now?” A third one added, “They don’t care about rights.”
Others praised the woman for standing her ground and not allowing the ICE agents to have their way.
One user wrote, “I love the energy and attitude she served them.” A second one said, “This is the kinda energy we need. We are not angry enough.” A third one commented, “We need to know where her favorite coffee places are and put some money on the books for her.”
These ICE agents will probably have to think twice before knocking on that New Jersey woman’s door again.
