With Thanksgiving having passed, many are still spending time with their loved ones for the holiday weekend. However, for this New Jersey woman, her holiday weekend looked a little different than most. In a recent TikTok video posted by @melissavillaazam, an altercation between this woman and someone in another vehicle is shown. The clip has around 1K likes and 96K views as it seems to be on its way to viral status. With that being said, social media users just couldn’t get enough of the holiday Karen encounter.
The TikTok starts with a blonde woman standing in the middle of a busy parking lot. However, she isn’t just minding her own business; she’s in the middle of a full-on screaming match with a complete stranger. The New Jersey woman in the video can also be heard using vulgar language towards the other person involved, as she also tells them to “Move the car.” The woman repeats this multiple times throughout the duration of the TikTok, but the person in the vehicle isn’t backing down.
New Jersey Karen Has a Holiday Meltdown
The TikTok comment section had a lot to say regarding the altercation. Many seem to wonder what could possibly have this woman in such a bad mood, when the holidays are a time for having fun. “Of course it’s New Jersey,” wrote one. “And the holiday season begins,” joked another. “What’s got her so upset?” asked on more. Finally, one other person wanted to know, “Aren’t we supposed to be nice to each other on the holidays?” While the comments can’t defend this woman’s behavior, many also seem just as confused as the people recording.
As the TikTok continues, the woman recording the video can be heard asking, “Why does she have to move the car?” The creator of the video also noted in the comments that the blonde woman had “plenty of room” to get around the other vehicle. After a few more seconds of arguing, the New Jersey woman looks directly into the camera, completely shocked by the situation.
While the car probably shouldn’t take up more space than needed, the other woman definitely could have handled this better. The holiday season is a time to come together, not argue over parking spots. Hopefully, they were both able to learn a valuable lesson and move on with their lives. At the end of the day, TikTok has yet another public freakout video. As for the New Jersey Karen, just find another spot next time.
