The Heritage Foundation, full of right-wingers and known for its open racism, tends to be hush-hush as members work behind the scenes. The lead organization behind Project 2025 shows endless support for President Donald Trump and his support of an inhumane agenda in America. Now, protestors came face-to-face with Heritage Foundation members in Washington, D.C. The hilarity that ensued showed us that sometimes, people who back evil ideals just need to be put in their place.
TikToker @heresdarian shared a video showing a confrontation between a protestor and Heritage Foundation members in Washington, D.C. He yells at them through a loudspeaker as they’re walking down the sidewalk headed into a parking lot. He says to them, “[expletive] you for everything you’re doing. For the hate that you’re preaching, for the policies that you’re implementing on our nation. Shame on you!” He calls them “Nazi [expletive]” before he’s stopped by a police officer. The officer tries to tell him that he needs to stop, but the protestor yells at him through the loudspeaker, too. The protestor tells the cop he needs to leave him alone if he’s not being detained.
The protestor then starts in on Heritage Foundation members who are walking down the opposite side of the street. He calls them “Nazis,” “traitors,” and points out that one of them shouldn’t be carrying a rainbow umbrella. He screams at her, “How dare you try to steal that from our people,” meaning the LGBTQ+ community that HF employees work against every single day. They do so by implementing policies that directly impact and harm members of the community.
This man is a protector. He continues to berate each and every one of them. This included one member who decided to bring his children with him. He points out that they “continue to support the bombing of children in Gaza” and that he should be ashamed. The protestor then asks a large group of them why they want to be literal “Nazis.” He asks them if they “think they’re funny” as they stand there uncomfortably laughing at him. He realizes quickly that none of these people are about to defend themselves. They’re quite literally left without words to defend themselves. They obviously don’t care too much for what they believe in if they can’t answer some simple questions.
One commenter stated on behalf of the confrontation, “Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside” seeing him take down a bunch of crooked Republicans. Another person commented, “A good use of privilege!” He wasn’t about to back down, and yet he had a lot of restraint. It’s the energy we love to see.
