Prince Harry has been pretty outspoken about his strong desire for ‘privacy,’ saying time after time again that he wishes to protect his family. However, during his recent speech for the Ontario Real Estate Association, he made a particular remark that made many rather concerned, if not aggravated. On top of the speech being cringeworthy and photos being bizarrely banned, based on a report by the Daily Mail, Harry also noted that he never lets anyone take pictures of his Labrador when he’s out walking the dog. If asked, he refuses, telling the stranger, “No. No you can’t.”
Out of the entire word salad of a speech, what made this comment irritating to hear is that Harry has been on a “worldwide tour” this year, more or less, while his wife has also been sharing videos and photos of their children and even his date at a ball game. This all reeks of anything but privacy, but it does spell the desire for public attention pretty well, according to Sussex followers.

Ironically, Harry Lets Meghan Parade His Children Around on Social Media
“Has Harold not seen his wife’s Instagram page with a plethora of pics of his dogs and children?” one Reddit user questions. “Dont take pics of my dog, but I am fine with my wife merching my children? Pathetic. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️,” remarks another. “I wonder if he’d let people take pics of the back of his dog’s head?” jokes a third. Truly, everyone’s seen the backs of Archie and Lilibet’s heads countless times now, yet getting a photo of his black Labrador is off limits. Many criticize this self-importance that Harry has as excessive and unnecessary.
Ironically, Prince Harry also spoke about corporations using AI to “make money at the expense of children – exploiting young people,” the thing that many accuse his wife, Meghan Markle, of doing with Archie and Lilibet. That said, the privacy of his dog was a minor point of his speech, and plenty more people were upset at his whole “copy-pasted” talk about his mom and the past with his wife. As one person puts it, “He is like a walking robot who just spits out the same talking points over and over -no matter the topic of conversation.”

By now, anyone who heard Harry’s “real estate” speech probably would understand why photos and recordings were strictly banned. As Laura Collins with the Daily Mail put it, his appearance was likely just a fancy excuse to tell attendees that “a real-life prince” would be presenting. All show and no substance.
