Content Creating Couple Gets Evicted From Pennsylvania Hotel On Purpose: ‘We’re Choosing to Be Outside, We’re Choosing to Be Homeless’

Romanticizing homeless life isn’t it

Homelessness is an epidemic in the U.S. And during what many call a public health crisis, two content creators are actively seeking this way of living. The couple, known as fullestness on all social platforms, has documented their homeless journey for more than a year. From Pennsylvania parking lot tents to storage units, they’ve lived in them all. While some followers show support, many are calling out the couple for their blatant attention-seeking. Some are even saying that they’re faking it.

In the couple’s most recent video, they share that they’ve been living in a hotel for 6 months. However, they’ve stopped paying to live there. The most recent video explains that they didn’t bother showing up for court. As a result, they were given 10 days to move out. “The hotel manager asked us why we didn’t show up for court, and we told him we have nothing to defend,” they say. The couple then explained they didn’t want help or to keep living in the hotel. “We told him we don’t want to get anything worked out, because we’re choosing to be outside. We’re choosing to be homeless.”

The couple says they have no intention of paying anything right now despite owing more than $6,000. Eventually, they want to contribute to a payment plan, but their main priority is moving a hotel room full of things into a tent. Other videos included details about their tent set-up, stressing that this was essential because they’ll be living outside in the winter.

While the content creators also emphasize that even the hotel manager is “excited” to watch their journey, many people are calling them liars. The couple has done this before and documented their journey, which is where much of the criticism comes from. In past videos, they’ve even shared how freeing it is to live rent-free and independent of a 9-5 job. They might romanticize their lives, but TikTok users wouldn’t hear of it.

“I HIGHLY doubt that conversation happened with the hotel manager,” one TikTok user comments. Another adds, “No money for rent but money for packages??” Some went so far as to screenshot the video’s background, which shows various items that cost a significant amount of money. Another user says, “I need to know how you got into owing $6,000 without getting kicked out already. This is a serious question.”

Some question why the couple stays together when this is the quality of their lives. Others, who have been in their alleged situation, comment on the disparity of it all. “This has to be a storyline. Coming from someone who has been homeless, I would have given my left kidney to stay in a hotel before having to sleep outside–tent or not.”
