I personally believe that having bad neighbors is the real worst part of becoming a homeowner. In most cases, you have no control over who moves in next door, meaning that you don’t have much say in things like how loud they’re being or even how they react toward you. In Portland, Oregon, one woman, who has already had various altercations with her neighbor, reached a new low when her neighbor started pelting rocks in her direction, with one hitting her car that was parked out on the road.
The above video was posted to the TikTok account @danielle_nichole.87, which is owned by a woman named Danielle. For the last year or so, she’s had a few altercations with her transgender neighbor, whom she’s endearingly named “Finch.” Unfortunately, the issues reached a new level recently, when Finch appeared on his balcony with a few rocks in hand as Danielle was hanging Christmas lights.
For some reason, Finch decides to start throwing the rocks at Danielle’s phone while she’s recording, saying, “I just want to see if the phone will knock down.” Immediately afterwards, Danielle says, “Keep doing that because you will go to jail,” a statement that Finch ignores completely.
Finch then immediately tosses another rock into the air, off his balcony. Then, when warned about potentially hitting cars down below, he decides to toss a rock down to Danielle’s car, denting the roof. Fortunately, the police arrived shortly after the video was taken, and Finch was deemed “unfit to live alone.”

Commenters jumped into the replies to give their own opinions, many of which were negative towards Finch. One comment in particular said, “This is exactly the problem with society. Letting people get away with this behavior lets them believe that they can act like this and get away with it. No consequences for their actions. Either the cops handle it…or a shadowy figure in all black under the cover of darkness will handle it when they least expect it. Lessons do indeed need to be taught and learned.”
According to the video’s caption, after the police arrived, Finch was placed on a 5150 hold and was evicted from the home. This means that law enforcement and medical professionals were legally allowed to detain him involuntarily because they determined he was a danger to himself and others. Unfortunately, this is likely the best case scenario for Finch, considering the fact that Danielle could have very well pressed charges instead.
