Facebook Marketplace Meltdown: Tennessee Woman Harasses Seller Over Payment, ‘Yall Don’t Swing Enough For Me’

What a wild experience

I’ve sold a few things on Facebook Marketplace, and as a result, know that there are some dicey situations you can get yourself into. For the most part, the platform is a great way to purchase and sell things to other people in your area, but it does have its faults. In Tennessee, a woman tried to sell something to another woman, only to be verbally harassed after allegedly not being paid for the item. Judging by the way the aggressive woman reacted, and the state of her vehicle, I’d like to think that this isn’t the first time she’s done this.

The video in question was posted to the TikTok account @inbetweenelliotande, which belongs to a musical artist named Inbetween Elliot and E (who we will just call E). The profile consists of a few videos detailing the musician’s life, which is why this particular post is so interesting. In it, you can see that E is standing behind a parked car, discussing with someone else a situation that has just happened.

According to E, a friend of hers sold an item on Facebook Marketplace, though when the buyer retrieved the item, she tried to leave without payment. As a result, E began filming, though this made the buyer incredibly angry, prompting her to get out of the car after trying to flee again.

This is where things really take a turn, as it seems that the woman who tried to flee with the Facebook Marketplace items wasn’t too happy about being filmed. She tries to get into E’s face, reportedly shoving her away.

Tennessee Facebook Marketplace Buyer Goes Crazy

The replies went off with people defending E and claiming what they would do differntly in the situation. In fact, many comments were within the vein of, “Yall don’t swing enough for me.” A few other people were making light of the particular location that the sale was taking place, saying, “This is why you do transactions at a police department. It saves time taking someone to jail.“

The video ends with the buyer aggressively walking towards E’s camera, with a look of determination on her face. There haven’t been any update videos made to explain what happened once the cameras went off, though according to a recent video, E wasn’t injured as a result.

Realistically, this was an incredibly dangerous position for anyone to be in, and I hope that E goes to Facebook Marketplace and reports the buyer for her aggressive actions.
