All This Over Mac and Cheese: Tennessee Man Sparks Backlash at Cheesecake Factory, ‘This Is Free Food Behavior’

That backfired perfectly

Tennessee Man Tries To Cancel Cheesecake Factory Server Over Macaroni Scoop

A rude and entitled Tennessee man, alongside the rest of his table, tried to get a Cheesecake Factory waitress canceled after she supposedly scooped their macaroni “wrong.” Turns out, the internet chose to cancel the man himself.

So these people are seemingly mad how the waitress at the Cheesecake Factor scooped their macaroni into the to go containers. Can we please find her and bless her since they thought it was ok to blast her on social media. #cheesecakefactory #waitress #rude #calvinpickett

A reaction to the now-unavailable clip uploaded by the man was shared by TikTok user rubywithnews (Ruby). She explained that the waitress had been reported to her Cheesecake Factory manager because she had scooped their macaroni incorrectly, according to them, into their to-go containers.

Ruby managed to salvage the video uploaded by the man. His name is reportedly Calvin Pickett, who has since set his account to private. While the background noise makes it difficult to hear what the other ladies are saying, they do confront the waitress about how she scooped the macaroni.

The waitress, whose name is reportedly Rori, explained that she has worked for 20 years. She added that she has been trained to do the scoops in a certain way. She, however, was being nice to the table. Furthermore, she even mentioned that, after they talked to the manager, they were getting a discount.

As if the attempted humiliation wasn’t enough, a man, most likely Calvin, called Rori unprofessional. Again, she explained that she has been a waitress for a long time and that she tries to treat everyone with kindness. She also mentioned the fact that the Christmas season is particularly busy. This was probably an attempt to “excuse” the “wrong” scooping she was being accused of.

Calvin, once again, called what Rori was doing unprofessional, with another person agreeing, almost in a mocking tone.

Man’s Attempt To Cancel Backfires, Reactions

As explained by Ruby, the vast majority of comments in the original video were on the side of the Cheesecake Factory waitress, choosing to blast the Tennessee man instead. The same thing happened in Ruby’s video.

“This is free food behavior. Employees should not be penalized for it when that behavior is obvious,” one user commented. Another one wrote, “I blame the manager for giving ANY discount.” A third one said, “Unless she scooped it with her hands, there is no wrong way to scoop macaroni.”

Calvin, who calls himself a “Man of God,” has limited the comments on his Instagram page, besides making his TikTok inaccessible.
