A woman in Denver, Colorado, got her wisdom teeth removed in what is considered a standard and common procedure. However, she went massively viral after her post-op demeanor was posted, with millions reacting to her request that her boyfriend become, of all things, a turtle. Yep, you read that right.
The clip was shared online by TikTok user bel2blessed, also known as Isabel. Initially, she is shown at the dentist’s office, apparently in the recovery room. Her boyfriend kissed her on the cheek, and then she proceeded to scream.
The same energy is displayed once the young couple gets inside a vehicle, possibly going home. Matching the recovery scream, Isabel said, while screeching, “He kissed me!”
Then, the anesthesia appeared to be kicking in, as she went on a nonsensical, albeit hilarious, dilemma. According to her, her boyfriend, whom she is having trouble remembering, must be a turtle to be able to sit beside her.
“Are you a turtle? You can’t sit next to me. If you’re a turtle, you can sit with me,” Isabel said.
Of course, the poor Colorado man is unable to suddenly transform into the beloved reptilian. He, however, agrees to become one for the sake of the plot. Isabel, however, cried, “You’re not really a turtle.” The young man, however, circumvented the issue by asking her what sound turtles make. She answered, “Blah.” After he “Blahs,” Isabel recognized him as a turtle.
“Oh, you’re a turtle,” the anesthesia-infused woman said.
Sad Floor, Kissing Rocks, Reactions
The four-minute clip featured many other hilarious moments. Isabel is shown crying for the floor, saying that it must be “so sad,” because it “never gets to do anything” and it “can’t pray to Jesus.” She continues her screeching, admiring the man sitting next to him, calling him handsome and bossy, and crying when she finds out that he is pretty much still in love with her.
She screamed at him, though, after finding out they were not married. The young man explained that they are not legally allowed to marry because of their age. Crying, Isabel asked her mom if she could marry him.
“Mom, can he marry me? He is very nice to me,” Isabel said. Her mother, the recording the video, agreed he was nice to her, and said, “If he wants to.”
The crying continued, with Isabel breaking down after thinking her boyfriend wouldn’t kiss her if she were a rock. Because of course she was. He defused yet another bomb, saying he would, in fact, kiss her if she, somehow, was a rock. Perhaps he could be a turtle while doing it.
Close to 5 million people liked the video, with 17.6K users commenting, all probably laughing out loud at the post-op meltdown.
“Does the anesthesia stay forever or it leaves?” one user asked. Another one said, “What type of anesthesia is this?” A third one said, “I want a bf like that.”
It is safe to say that everyone fell in love with this Colorado couple. If becoming a reptile and kissing a person recently turned into an inanimate object isn’t love, then who knows what love really is.
