A parking lot argument spiraled after a man from Pennsylvania was accused of nearly hitting a pedestrian. Moments later, in a bizarre turn, he accidentally reversed into his own wife. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured, though the incident, caught on video, is now going viral.
The video opens mid-argument between the female pedestrian and the Pennsylvania man, with the woman recording the encounter accusing him of nearly hitting her with his vehicle. The man, wearing a red and black lumberjack jacket, black cap, and sunglasses can be seen berating the woman filming, stating, “On the other side of the [expletive] aisle, you fat [expletive]. Go away.” The man’s wife, sporting a black padded gilet, can be seen holding him back and ushering him away, saying, “Okay, go away. Go away. Bye. You’ve nothing against us. Go away.”
The pedestrian fires back, “Oh, I am, cos he tried to hit me, and he just said that he was going to do something to me.” The argument takes a sudden turn, however, when the man starts hurling racist abuse at the woman, as he gets into his vehicle. “Go away, you [expletive] Chinese–” though the rest of what he says is hard to discern. It’s worth noting that the man’s license plate appears to be from Pennsylvania.
While the argument continues, the wife stands behind the vehicle, and says, “I don’t care. Did you just call me a dumb [expletive]? What did I do to you?” The pedestrian retorts, “Your husband.” The woman then replies, “There’s nothing wrong with him.” However, unbeknownst to the wife, the reverse lights have suddenly turned on, and the pedestrian warns her, “He’s gonna hit you!” though the wife continues to stand in the way, before getting knocked back by the vehicle that her husband is reversing. The wife states, “OH,” as she stumbles backwards, before awkwardly adding, “Babe, you just hit me.”
As the footage spreads online, many viewers have found the clip both amusing and oddly satisfying. On Reddit, one person wrote, “How satisfying that must have been for the woman recording.” while another chimed in with, “The way she forces a smile and calls her husband “babe” as she hurries herself back inside the car. It’s beautiful.” A third commenter, meanwhile, added, “What a perfect video. It’s short, yet so many layers.“
