Complicating matters further is Harry’s ongoing legal fight over UK security. If he succeeds, one of the main logistical reasons for staying in California disappears. To Harry, that potential victory feels like a door reopening. To Meghan, it reportedly feels like the walls are closing in.
“For her, the U.K. is bound up with some of the most stressful and painful periods of her life,” a source continued. “The idea of returning triggers memories of constant scrutiny and emotional strain, and she is deeply resistant to being drawn back into that atmosphere.”
Both sides reportedly feel justified in their reasoning for their feelings toward the UK. Sadly, things allegedly escalated during the holiday season, as reported arguments became more frequent, with neither willing to budge.
For Harry, it’s all about reconnecting with his roots and his family. However, Meghan is said to be all about focusing on her Hollywood lifestyle, including her lifestyle brand and TV projects with Netflix.
