I’ve had my fair share of shipments get destroyed in transit for a number of different reasons. However, I have to say, I don’t think I’ve ever gotten my belongings back in as bad a condition as one New York City, New York, woman did just recently.

Not only were the belongings brought to her in a completely different box than the one she had originally used for shipment, but they were covered in a liquid that I genuinely believed to be the pattern on the clothing. At least I’ve never had to deal with anything more than the packages I receive being lost in the mail or misdelivered.

Please tag @FedEx — ive reached out several times and havent received any sort of communication/update/remediation in regards to this. My laundry bill is $320 to try to get the stains out. This is actually insane. If you/anyone yk is using fedex or trying to ship things pls show them this video. They do not care about your shipment/ you as a customer/ your business. #fedex #nyc #fyp

The above video was posted to the TikTok account @kyleebaxa, an influencer named Kylee on the platform who typically posts about her daily life, among other things. On the social media site, she has over 35,000 followers who tuned in to see what her beef with FedEx was. Unfortunately, she was completely right to be upset.

Kylee begins telling a story about having delivered her things to her apartment from Chicago, where she had been over the holiday break. When the package arrived, she immediately noted something was wrong because it was dropped off in a box that was much bigger than the one she had originally used. When she opened the box, she discovered the destroyed remains of the original box she used as well as her belongings.

As she pulls out different articles of clothing, you can see the immense, green stains that coat most of them. In fact, the very first sweater she pulled out even tricked the viewers, with one person saying, “I thought the first sweater was tie dyed that way ☠️.” According to Kaylee, the laundry bill to clean what was still repairable was over $300.

FedEx Allegedly Destroys New York Woman’s Clothes in Shipment

FedEx did reply to the video, asking Kaylee to check her DMs, as they sent her some kind of message, though Kaylee only replied with a photo of more damage. In an update, she claims that the company hasn’t done anything regarding either her video or the complaint she had made.

Under the comment that FedEx had left, a variety of other commenters claimed that the company won’t do anything, citing their own experiences, with one person saying, “they won’t do anything. I’m still waiting on a response and claim from 3 years ago for a 300 tv they destroyed.” I really hope that she has this issue resolved, because that just isn’t fair from the company.
