The latest tragedy in Minnesota is the fallout of Alex Pretti’s death at the hands of ICE and its aggressive actions. In the wake of his passing, Minnesota and other liberal cities have been enraged, as protests and a vast outpouring of support have fanned the flames of the anti-ICE movements nationwide. However, prominent Republicans and MAGA supporters have also done a stellar job of pouring alcohol on the raging fire and have made it reach a tipping point despite the winter storms covering the nation in snow. Stephen Miller, Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security Advisor for the White House, set the internet on fire by labeling Alex Pretti an “assassin” and is standing by his label against all comers.
On X, the social media platform owned by eccentric billionaire Elon Musk, Stephen Miller went right after the Democrats’ attack on ICE by defending them with the following message.
A would-be assassin tried to murder federal law enforcement and the official Democrat account sides with the terrorists.
And this wasn’t the first time Stephen proclaimed the victim an assassin, using it in various Tweets and sharing other posts by fellow Republicans and MAGA users agreeing with the sentiment.
This has caused people in Minnesota to essentially riot, as they put his words on signs and led fierce protests that continued all through the night. Minnesota Democrats went on the counterattack, biting back at him and his assassin label. Politicians from other states on both sides have also waged war on X and have defended or attacked Stephen Miller over the sentiment.
