There is always something to be said about the people who will go the distance to ensure you’re safe and protected. There is also something to be said for those who think the exact opposite and would go to great lengths to hurt someone. Fortunately, a Jacksonville, Florida, woman was able to call on her husband when she returned from a coffee run, only to discover a stranger lingering by her front door while she was out on vacation.
It’s terrifying to imagine what the world outside is like, and having to experience something like this firsthand must have been terrifying. I can only imagine how this could have turned out had the woman’s husband not been home.
The video above was posted to the TikTok account @starc_sings, run by Staci. Her account typically revolves around her daily life and things she does, which doesn’t make this odd video all too different. This time, she records from inside her car, showing a man in her rearview mirror who appears to be walking aimlessly.
Staci confirms the man is standing near the front door of the Florida hotel where she was staying, and that she had seen him earlier but didn’t pay him any mind. The fact that he hadn’t left by the time she returned from getting coffee was alarming, so she called on the one person she knew she could trust to come and save her: her husband.
She says he’s just inside, and that if he hadn’t been there to rescue her, she doesn’t know what else she would have done. According to an update video, her husband feels that she should have done something a little differently to protect herself: make sure she had a gun on her.

Some comments even circle back to the strange man and what he must have been thinking when he saw a man walk out of the hotel, saying, “Him watching your husband and rethinking his plan🤣.” Fortunately, it seems like things didn’t escalate, and Staci remained safe for the rest of her vacation.
