In October 2025, Fortnitemares will return. The event will feature several new skins and collaborations that players have anticipated for the past few months. It will also introduce new game modes and bring back some favorites. With Doja Cat as a special guest this year, Fortnite players will have much to enjoy.
Quests & Rewards
To keep players engaged, Fortnitemares 2025 encourages them to complete various quest sets to unlock new skins for their characters, weapons, and loading screens. You will be required to put in extra time and energy to complete each quest if you are to acquire all the limited skins. The quests request you to help the Scooby gang, complete different tasks within Battle Royale mode, and reach a certain Account Level. Account Level Rewards
With the Account Level rewards, you will earn them the more you play. This can also be completed faster through other quests, so don’t ignore those. The rewards will start simple with Back Blings and loading screen decors, but you can eventually earn the Pig The Butcher skin and much more!
The Account Levels and Rewards are:
- Account Level 2 – Butcher’s Tools Back Bling
- Account Level 4 – Art The Hack Spray
- Account Level 6 – The Grind House loading screen
- Account Level 8 – Meat Grinder emote
- Account Level 10 – Wuggy Welcome loading screen
- Account Level 12 – Butcher’s Knife Pickaxe
- Account Level 15 – Pig The Butcher skin
Fortnitemares Quests
To unlock all rewards, you’ll have to complete the special quests included in the events. These include helping the Scooby Doo Gang, hitting players with Last Call, and even defeating the special Doja Cat Mother Throne boss during Battle Royale matches. More quests are planned to be added as the event goes on, so don’t forget to log in every day to see!
All the quests available so far for Fornitemares 2025 are:
- Fred, Velma, Daphne, and Shaggy’s Found Quests x4
- Hire Scooby Doo
- Pick up the phone at a Stalkbox x2
- Hit different players with Last Call x7
- Defeat the Mother of Thorns
- Call players with Last Call x10
- Hit an opponent while grinding on vines or rails at Viney Shafts
- Defeat Ultima Carver
- Restore health or gain shields with Scooby Snacks x450
- Pull consumables with the Thorn Ripper x5
- Visit Pumpkin Takeovers with the Mother of Thorns x3
- Restore health or gain shields by consuming food at night x200
- Carve pumpkins x5
- Smash Pumpkin Chests x10
Fortnitemares’ New Reload Map
The popular Reload game mode will return with a new map at the 2025 Fortnitemares event. Forty players are divided into teams in Reload. As long as one teammate is still alive, team members can respawn, and only one team can be eliminated. But there are a ton of Halloween-themed traps, pumpkins, and even a new Haunted House to explore with a ton of new weapons and loot in the new Reload mode map.
The new Reload map will feature familiar landmarks, but all the special Halloween traps and buildings are mainly in the north-west section. Players will need to take extra precautions when exploring, as many tricks can happen. However, you’ll need to visit if you want to complete all the Account Level quests and earn the new skins and cosmetics. From October 3rd to 5th, there was a limited-time Early Access event for the new Reload Map. This event allowed players to get competitive while also having the early ability to explore the map and its secrets before anyone else. The exclusive Dark Maw skin was given to those who finished in the top 25% of the winning leaderboard. If you missed this chance, be sure to check the V-Bucks store for it!
The Mother Of Thorns Doja Cat Boss
There are multiple bosses players can fight during Fortnitemares 2025, but The Mother of Thornes is the most hyped. This year, players can set out to battle Doja Cat to earn some special rewards, including some Mythic and Legendary tagged weapons to carry them through their Battle Royale match. You’ll also need to defeat her at least once to complete all the Fortnitemares Halloween Account Level quests, so be ready!
To find the boss’s location, there are three places she can appear. These are in the Freaky Fields, Gourdy Gate, and the Thorny Throne west of Supernova Academy. Follow the skull marking that appears on your map, and you’ll spot Doja Cat in no time. The battle itself is fairly easy, as she can be knocked down by a few headshots.
