A woman in Texas is apparently so fed up with the rhetoric posed by ICE protesters, which she called “crazy,” that she is now feeling more sympathetic toward President Donald Trump.
The woman in question is singer MsJorji, who took to TikTok to give her followers a piece of her mind. She admitted that, at first, she tried not to get too involved in the current political conversation. However, as she got into the “ICE thing” amid the upcoming elections, she called people against the law enforcement agency “[expletive] crazy.”
“You’re really out here trying to make it seem like Americans are wrong for wanting people to come to their country and assimilate,” she said. The Texas woman called out the “Islamic people” trying to bring their “Islamic culture” to the United States, telling them that if they want that, they should “go back to your country.”
“Y’all can’t do half the [expletive] y’all do here in your own country,” the Texas woman continued. “You can’t go to [expletive] UAE [United Arab Emirates] and tell them you want them to be Christian. […] You can’t go to Russia and tell them they have to speak English.”
Voting Red, Reactions
Fed up with the anti-ICE rhetoric, MsJorji added, “I hate how ignorant you people sound,” and said that they were mad that “Americans want America to be about America.”
“If you don’t like America, go back to where you want to implement your [expletive] culture,” the Texas woman concluded. In the video’s caption, MsJorji said that the “ignorance with this ICE protest is staggering,” and that this is making her support Trump. One day later, the Texas woman announced in a follow-up clip that she was officially a Republican and was “voting Red.“
More than a thousand users commented on her first clip. Most of them detailed what made them support Trump and the Republicans. “Trump being responsible for the arrest of Epstein did it for me,” one user said. Another commenter wrote, “Let me tell you… Once Latinos and Black Americans wake up democrats will never win again. They need our vote.” A third netizen commented, “It makes no sense. This is one of the things democrats and republicans should agree on.“
