Grinding Pets in this pet simulator Roblox game is about to get dramatically faster. The upcoming update reworks the Pet Releaser system entirely, removing the wait timer and replacing rewards with a ticket currency. Adopt Me! players can then spend them on Eggs, items, and even a new ultra-rare Pet: the Dire Wolf.
According to Jessie, in the developer update for Adopt Me! YouTube channel, releasing Pets will now grant Tickets based purely on rarity. Pets that can Fly or be Ridden will offer more bonuses than Common ones as well.
That’s not all, as the Releaser overhaul will also let you buy Pet directly using those Tickets. One major showcase for this change is the Dire Wolf, which will be available for 3,000 Tickets. The change will also temporarily move the Pet Releaser from the Nursery to the main Adoption Island while the system is overhauled.
We’re also changing how the rewards work to give you more control. Releasing Pets now gives you tickets that you can choose how to spend. Take your tickets to the Ticket Counter and you can buy a Basic Egg for 400 Tickets or a Crystal Egg for 4,000 Tickets along with a few other items.
For the first time, you’ll also be able to use those Releaser Points to get a Pet directly. The Ultra Rare Dire Wolf brought back from extinction by beloved Time Traveler Tom can be yours for 3,000 Tickets.
Full details will be revealed in the patch notes on Friday later this week. Nevertheless, Adopt Me! players immediately flooded social media with excitement, where some are already planning to farm the new Dire Wolf Pet.
L0R1_M00NZ wrote on the official Discord server, “Im gonna make a army and place them all for nft [..] i’ll buy dire wolfs😼.” Saphi simply said, “I’m excited for the dire wolf ❤️.” On the announcement video, fans were even louder. @Awes0me_w00lf wrote, “NOOOOO WAYYYYYYY A DIRE WOLFFF!!!! 🐺 🖤”
However, not every reaction was celebratory as Adopt Me! Dire Wolf update also signals the departure of the Giant Panda from the Releaser. Jessie said that the replacement for the Giant Panda will be revealed next Monday.
As expected, worried responses quickly filled the YouTube comments. “The Panda leaves??? NOOO I dont have one 😭😂,” wrote @BeeBella_AM disappointed. Sophiiblxssxms echoed the sentiment, “I DIDNT EVEN GOT A CHANCE FOR THAT CUTIE PANDA.. 💔😭”
