A woman in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has gone viral on TikTok after posting Ring camera footage of her breakup with her now-ex, and honestly, the deeper we get into the story, the more unbelievable it becomes. It all started with a short clip she posted which took place on Valentine’s Day, where she told him she couldn’t stand his lying anymore and demanded that he leave her house.
The video didn’t give much context about what exactly happened, but the tension was obvious and viewers immediately wanted to know what had pushed things to that point.
Of course, she didn’t disappoint. The woman later filled in the blanks with more clips showing the two sitting on her couch, arguing about the real issue — he had cheated on her with a coworker he constantly insisted she didn’t need to worry about.
He Claims He Was In a Dark Place
During the discussion, he tried to defend himself by saying he was in a “really dark place” at the time and didn’t have anybody. He even leaned toward her emotionally as he spoke, as if that explanation should soften what he had done. She shut that down quickly, reminding him that he didn’t just make a mistake, he chose to lie and manipulate the situation instead of being honest from the start. She said, “You could have told me, ‘Hey, I hooked up with Carrie a couple months ago,’ and I would have said, okay, so don’t hang out with her one on one.”
She claims that he had instead gone out of his way to reassure her that nothing inappropriate was going on, even laughing off her concerns whenever she questioned their closeness.
The detail that really stunned viewers, though, was how involved this coworker had been in their day-to-day lives. According to the woman, he didn’t just stay friends with the coworker after the cheating incident, he continued spending time with her and even had them all hanging out together at different points.
She even recalled one time when she had to serve the coworker at her workplace because her ex brought the woman over to give her “peace of mind” about the friendship. In another instance, she said the three of them ended up painting his house together. And she had no clue what was going on!

After the clips blew up, garnering millions of views, the woman later posted a long storytime to provide more details about their relationship and how they broke up. She shared that she initially ended things early on when they first got together because he still seemed hung up on his previous partner, but they later reconnected and agreed to start fresh.
When they had their first “clean slate” conversation, she directly asked him if there’s anything else she needed to know about his past hookups. He reportedly told her that there was no one else, which of course she later discovered was not true once the situation with the coworker came fully to light.
The woman said that her discomfort grew over time as he continued to spend one-on-one time with the coworker on days when she was unavailable, often telling her about it only after the fact. She claims they visited Home Depot together, they went to pick up another coworker at the airport for a Christmas party, they even went skating after he had already told her he didn’t plan to.
Each time she expressed concern, he reassured her that the coworker was strictly a friend and that nothing inappropriate had ever happened. Eventually, she said she put her foot down and asked him to enforce stronger boundaries with the coworker, especially after realizing just how frequently they were spending time together behind the scenes.
For a while, she believed things had improved, until she went through his phone and saw his messages with not just the coworker but with other women as well.
