I have always been the type of person to take my significant other to their appointments just because. There’s no other underlying reason besides the fact that I want to make sure they get there safely. Unfortunately, for some people, waiting and caring for their own children while their wife is at a hair appointment is just far too difficult. A Kentucky man is under fire for interrupting his wife’s hair appointment because she was taking too long, and the kids were thirsty. Mind you, the husband allegedly had the car and could very well have taken the children to get something to drink nearby.
The above video was posted to the Planet and Salon and Spa official TikTok page in Lexington, Kentucky. The video is taken from the point of view of a security camera inside the spa, pointed directly at both the front door and main reception area. Shortly after the start of the video, you can see a man open the door and stick his head inside the establishment to shout, “Honey, are you about done with you [redacted]? The kids are thirsty out here.”
According to the video’s caption, the man’s wife was in the middle of a three-hour hair appointment, which isn’t uncommon when getting different types of work done on your hair. However, it seems that instead of doing literally anything else while she was at her appointment, her husband decided it was best to just stay in the car with the children.
Even the spa itself was upset at the situation, commenting, “There is a public park down the street from our business 🥰,” under a reply of someone else who said, “heaven forbid he take the kids in the car he’s sitting in and drive then kids to a park or a gas station for drinks for something to do. [redacted].”

Commenters were just as shocked as the spa was, with many condemning the man’s actions and one person saying, “Imagine a man has to babysit, I mean, care for his own children…” Other comments focused more on what the woman must have felt in this situation, with one person saying, “how embarrassing omg!! i would be absolutely MORTIFIED.”
Hopefully, this video circulates back to the man in question so he can see how his reaction was received across the internet. Maybe he will think twice before embarrassing someone in public again.
