California Roblox Church Preaches Why You Shouldn’t Worship Trump in Viral Clip, ‘Does the President Know You?’

Put your Robux to good use

Roblox hosts countless user-generated games, some of which can be unusual or potentially harmful. Lately, however, a somewhat wholesome church game called Roblox Ministries 2.0, made by a California man, just went viral for letting some underrated orators preach online; one of the most viral preaches yet involves waking up from your parasocial relationship with the US president, or in this case, President Trump.

Are they really having church on Roblox?!! 🤯🔥 this is mind blowing…

TikTok user bptheofficial, aka Brandon Payton from Vallejo, California, is the game’s creator, and its setup is simple; people can play as the preacher, and the other players can listen or even verbally acknowledge the speech. Payton’s clip shows one of the preachers in Roblox Ministries 2.0 with a political sermon making an example of people who zealously support the President.

“Imagine someone walking into a room and confidently announcing, ‘I know the president,’ but then imagine if someone asks, ‘well does the President know you?” talks the preacher, “suddenly their entire claim changes, because there’s a vast difference between knowing someone, and being personally known by them,” the Roblox preacher suggests.

The Roblox preacher then goes on to argue that, “None of that [support] matters if you don’t have a relationship. The true test is not whether you know his name, the true test is whether he knows yours.” It just so happens that, for a lot of Trump supporters, their personal pleas online to the President himself have been ignored, such as the case of one man who got separated from his wife thanks to Trump’s policies, among many other cases.

People Online are Praising the Roblox Church

Politics aside, Roblox Ministries 2.0 is wildly popular now, with more than 200,000 players in just a few weeks, quite impressive for an online project from Brandon Payton. Payton has even set up a GoFundMe to cover his basic life expenses so he can continue dedicating time to Roblox Ministries 2.0. Apparently, the first one got deleted for unknown reasons.

As for the clip itself, which began with a political sermon, it has earned widespread praise online, with many being amazed at the preacher’s oration. As one commenter says, “hes actually a very good preacher lowk.” Others think the Roblox game is also good practice, “This is awesome! It’s a great platform for aspiring pastors to practice.”

With that said, it’s worth noting that Roblox is still a kid’s game, and perhaps it’s good to remember that not everyone preaching in Roblox Ministries 2.0 might have the best intentions or lessons to impart to children. Roblox, for the record, is facing numerous lawsuits from several US states for similar reasons, including failing to protect children from predators, grooming, and other unsafe conditions. So a watchful eye from adults might be warranted.
