Puzzles in Crimson Desert come in all shapes, sizes, and lengths, with some requiring just a little time investment, while others take you on a scavenger hunt across Pywell. In this case, we’re referring to one of the latter, and one of the first puzzles you will encounter as soon as you set camp in the game. We’re talking about the Dragon’s Stone Chamber puzzle of Crimson Desert, which requires you to visit several places across Hernand to unlock the door of this long-abandoned ruin.

Crimson Desert - Dragon Stone Chamber Puzzle Guide

The Dragon’s Stone Chamber in Crimson Desert is hard to miss, as it is a crater right next to where you get your house at camp. If you, like us, have a thirst for knowledge, you’ll likely drop into this place, push the wall, but then encounter a cryptic mural with some markings and a few round panels you can turn.

The first thing you’ll likely notice is how the map looks like a part of the Hernand region, more specifically, the one close to Demeniss. Naturally, you’ll want to start looking at your map to check the exact locations, but to save you some time, we’ll show you the exact places below.

The first marker with the first painting is close to the border near the starter town.

The second one is pretty close to it and just to the northwest of the border gate.

The final one is further away, but just below Anvill Hill.

As you might have noticed, all of these locations have a painting that lines up with the ones at the panel in the Dragon’s Stone Chamber. And as you can imagine, you need to turn the panels in a way that they match the paintings on the cliffs.

If you want to take a look at the finished puzzle, here’s how every panel should look:

With the panels lined up, the chamber will open, and you’ll obtain an Abyss Artifact and also unlock a fast travel point, which will be helpful if you haven’t unlocked the one next to your house.

Initially, the reward might not seem that great, but with three playable characters, you’ll be scouring the whole map for Abyss Artifacts to unlock new skills for everyone. So, while the puzzle is quite long, we recommend doing it because there are several benefits to this brain teaser.
