How to Get Follie in Warframe (Follie Farming Guide)

It’s not folly…

The latest update for Warframe, called Shadowgrapher, is finally here. And with it comes a new Warframe named Follie and a corresponding game mode where you can farm for her parts. If you’re itching to get your new inkblot mommy Warframe as quickly as possible, here’s our guide on how to get Follie.

Step 1: Meet the Prerequisite

Hold your horses, you’re going to need the following to be able to access Follie:

  • Complete the Chains of Harrow quest

Now, it’s more complicated than just completing that quest if you don’t have it yet in your Quest codex. That’s because Chains of Harrow also has the following prerequisites before it becomes accessible:

  • Completed The War Within quest
  • Visit Onkko in Cetus, Earth

So it’s safe to say that newbies won’t immediately have access to Follie, at least if they want her without spending any Platinum or real money.

Step 2: Play the New Game Mode

Follie is not tied to any structured quest in Warframe.

Instead, you will need to do the following to get her parts:

  1. Go to Venus and select Vesper Relay (Follie’s Hunt).
  2. Play Follie’s Hunt, preferably with a squad, since it’s a fairly difficult game mode.
  3. Collect as much Atramentum as you can from Follie’s Hunt missions.

Atramentum is the new currency in Warframe, which you’ll need to purchase Follie’s blueprints from Aspirant Zorba. There’s a low chance of Follie blueprints getting rewarded to you with each successful attempt at Follie’s Hunt, but in case you don’t get all of them or if you get duplicates, Atramentum serves as some kind of pity currency.

Collect Thousands of Atramentum

Follie’s blueprints require quite a lot of Atramentum; here’s how much you’ll need:

BlueprintAtramentum Needed
Follie Blueprint1,200
Follie Chassis Blueprint400
Follie Neuroptics Blueprint400
Follie Systems Blueprint400

So all in all, you’re going to need around 2,400 Atramentum in case you don’t get Follie blueprints as rewards from Follie’s Hunt. You can also speed up the grind by playing Steel Path, though be aware that it’s a hard mission since you can’t slay Follie, and she’ll just be chasing you around like some kind of Resident Evil stalker monster.

Step 3: Visit Aspirant Zorba

After you feel like you have enough Atramentum to spend, head on over to any Relay that isn’t the Vesper Relay in Venus. Going to Vesper Relay will just take you to another Follie’s Hunt mission. I recommend the Larunda Relay in Mercury as it’s the closest.

Once you’re in a safe Relay, do the following steps:

  • Open the menu, select Fast Travel.
  • Select Aspirant Zorba.
  • Talk to Zorba and exhaust the dialogue.
  • Select Browse Wares.

Here, you can purchase Follie blueprints using Atramentum. Again, you’re going to need a lot. The new weapon, Enkaus, also needs its own Atramentum.

Step 4: Craft Follie

Ensure you have at least one of each of the following blueprints:

  • Follie Blueprint
  • Follie Chassis Blueprint
  • Follie Neuroptics Blueprint
  • Follie Systems Blueprint

If so, head over to your Orbiter’s Foundry and craft Follie. You might have to collect the necessary crafting components so you can craft the parts, which means you’ll need to undergo another grind if you’re short on certain components.

Additionally, you’ll have to wait several hours for the Chassis, Neuroptics, and Systems to finish crafting. After that, there’s one more wait needed to craft Follie herself. I don’t recommend spending Platinum to rush the process, as that’s Platinum you could’ve just spent on purchasing Follie on the Market (for 370 Platinum).
