There’s a new Warframe in town to get her, you’ll have to go through some flaming hoops, figuratively speaking. The Follie’s Hunt quest, required for farming the latest Warframe Follie, is a different kind of mission compared to what you usually play in Warframe. It’s essentially a horror mini-game where you’re being chased by an invincible monster, in this case, a hostile Follie. But with our help, you don’t have to struggle too much. Here’s our guide on how to play Follie’s Hunt.

Important note: Follie’s Hunt is only available in Vesper Relay in Venus, but to unlock the game mode, you need to finish the following quest:

  • Chains of Harrow

If you have that completed, simply go to Venus in the Navigation menu and select Vesper Relay.

In Follie’s Hunt, you have to finish Follie’s paintings, also called Shadowgraph canvases. Several Shadowgraph canvases can appear on the map, though, depending on the number of players, they might only appear one at a time. Completing Shadowgraph paintings will fill up a meter, which, when complete, will result in a successful mission.

Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of Follie’s Hunt:

  1. Look for Shadowgraph canvases; it will tell you to find paint.
  2. You’ll have to search all over the map for paint; they appear as floating inkblots all over the map.
  3. Walk into the paint if you see one; it will then force you into Operator mode.
  4. While in Operator mode, carry the paint back to the Shadowgraph canvas to deposit the paint.
  5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 until the Shadowgraph canvas/painting is complete.
  6. After the first Shadowgraph canvas is complete, Follie will appear. She will be invulnerable, so there’s nothing you can do but run or hide from her.
  7. You have to evade Follie while looking for paint and Shadowgraph canvases all over the map.
  8. If Follie catches you while in Operator mode or Warframe mode, her area-of-effect bubble will kill you in seconds.
  9. Getting knocked out while in Operator mode will remove the paint from your possession, and you’ll have to find another one.

Basically, play Follie’s Hunt as though you’re being chased by a stalker monster in a Resident Evil game. From time to time, Grineer, Corpus, and Infested enemies will appear, and you can kill them. These enemies can also drop Atramentum, which is a currency you need for buying Follie blueprints or the new weapon, Enkaus.

As Always, Squad Up & Bring the Right Warframe

Needless to say, Follie’s Hunt will go faster if several players look for paint while others distract Follie. Make sure to bring a tanky Warframe, such as Rhino, Revenant, or fast Warframes like Titania and Wukong, to make the chase less nerve-wracking.
