Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton faces renewed scrutiny after alleged mistress footage circulated across Texas social media. Reports also linked him to a secret $2 million property weeks after his Senate primary victory.

Awww, @KenPaxtonTX with his wife.

Just kidding, this is Ken Paxton with Tracy Duhon, the Christian influencer, grief counselor, and mother of 7 he cheated on his wife with.

This is AT LEAST the second person he cheated on his wife with, leading her to divorce him upon…

The woman was identified online as Tracy Duhon, a Christian influencer, grief counselor and mother of seven. Neither Paxton nor Duhon publicly addressed the allegations, according to the report.

The report linked Paxton and Duhon to a private property valued at about $2 million. It said the property sits near the home of Paxton’s wife, Texas State Senator Angela Paxton.

The allegations revived attention on Paxton’s previous legal and political controversies. He was impeached in 2023, and the Texas Senate later acquitted him.

After defeating U.S. Senator John Cornyn, Paxton dismissed past allegations as politically motivated attacks. He now faces Democratic state Representative James Talarico in the general election.

Southern Methodist University professor Matthew Wilson called Paxton’s controversies “a genuine vulnerability.” He questioned whether they would prove politically decisive.

Public Reaction as Ken Paxton Allegations Spark Debate

The allegations quickly prompted discussion online, with many users questioning whether the claims conflicted with Paxton’s public image.

One user wrote, “There’s those conservative Christian family values again.” Another said, “Well, that should help him with his base.” A third added, “The maddening thing about this is that Texas Republicans do not care about this. They will vote for him anyway.” Another response read, “This guy is such an enormous piece of [expletive] in every aspect of his life.”

Others argued the controversy was unlikely to have much political impact. One person wrote, “If anything attacking him on this will only help him all while unintentionally downplaying his actual real scandals.” Another added, “Ngl im just relieved she’s an adult.”

The allegations surfaced as Paxton prepares for the general election against Talarico, leaving questions over whether the controversy will influence a Senate race expected to draw national attention.
