A Missouri woman says Walmart fired her after 15 years because she stood up for a kid she claims was being bullied. Rather than quietly leaving, she grabbed the store’s PA system to announce her firing and deliver a scathing message about management. The exit quickly divided viewers, with some applauding her while others questioned whether they were getting the full story.

Posted to TikTok, the video begins moments after the creator says she was fired. She introduces herself before addressing the store over the PA system. “I just got fired because I stood up for a kid who was being bullied.”

She doesn’t stop there. “This is the worst management team that this store has ever had in the 15 years that I’ve worked here.” She closes with, “[Expletive] this place.” The video begins after Bambi’s termination and provides only her account of what led to it. Walmart’s version of the events surrounding her firing is not included.

Missouri Walmart Worker’s PA Announcement Divides Viewers

Many commenters sided with the Missouri creator, praising her for speaking her mind before walking out.

Quite a few others shared their own frustrations with Walmart’s employment practices. “You getting fired was a blessing tbh. Walmart sucks. I’ve worked for them too. Told them my TL position was affecting my mental health so I needed to step down. They wouldn’t let me so I just quit and found something else,” one person wrote.

Some commenters used Bambi’s story to criticize how large companies treat longtime employees. “So many dedicated workers are getting fired lately. These companies dont GAF about employees, only profits,” one person claimed.

Some viewers also admired the creator’s public sendoff.”You were way nicer than I would have been after 15 years,” one person wrote.

Not everyone accepted Bambi’s explanation at face value. Some questioned whether there was more behind her termination than the short video revealed. “What was the real reason? They just dont fire a 15 year associate unless something is major wrong,” one commenter wrote.

Others pointed to Bambi’s language during the announcement as a reason they suspected there might be more history behind the termination than viewers were being shown. “Listen to this language, I believe it was more than one reason for this termination,” one person commented. Another added, “Sounds like management made a good decision.”

Whatever led Walmart to end Bambi’s 15-year run isn’t established by the viral clip. She says standing up for a kid who was being bullied cost her the job, while skeptical viewers suspect there was more to the story. Either way, she made sure everyone in the store knew exactly how she felt about management before she walked out.
