A Pennsylvania woman is facing online backlash after she can be seen flipping off and telling Flavor Flav to “shut up” as he preached about unity, peace, Trump, and racism during a Guns N’ Roses concert.
The video was uploaded to TikTok by @jibrilhough and has since gone viral as people are buzzing about the woman’s disrespectful behavior towards the rapper/singer.
In the video, Flavor Flav asks the Pennsylvania crowd to “stick together and build a wall of unity” and has them raise a peace sign in the air and chant with him.
As he speaks, a woman seated near the front of the venue can be seen mouthing off “*expletive* off” before standing up and flashing two middle fingers as everyone around her reacts in disbelief.
The woman keeps her middle fingers out as Flavor Flav instructs the crowd to put their fingers together in a unity formation, then makes a fist for power.
Flavor Flav tells the Hershey audience, “There’s only one race, people. And that’s the human race,” before wrapping up Public Enemy’s performance and transitioning to Guns N’ Roses’ set.
The woman throws her hands up in frustration and mouths off “*expletive* off” again as he ends his speech.
Flavor Flav later responded to the comments section of the TikTok video with “GOD BLESS HER AND LETZ HOPE SHE EVENTUALLY FINDS SUM PEACE IN HER LIFE.”
Internet Reacts to Pennsylvania Woman’s Response to Flavor Flav
The clip drew a wave of criticism in the comments, with many questioning why anyone would react with hostility to a message centered on unity. One commenter wrote, “He’s talking about unity and she’s bothered smh.” Another said, “Imagine being THIS angry at peace and willingly so full of hate.”
Others echoed the same disbelief. A separate commenter asked, “Why would anyone be so full of hate as to respond like this to talk of unity?” Another added, “Spreading hate like its their day job smh.” A few tried to explain the reaction altogether, with one writing, “Oh she’s definitely MAGA.”
Guns N’ Roses lead singer Axl Rose has a history of disdain for President Trump. In 2018, he tweeted that the president’s camp was exploiting licensing “loopholes” to play the band’s songs at his campaign rallies and slammed the administration as “shitbags” for doing so.
The Pennsylvania incident comes as part of a larger tour for both bands, with Public Enemy, the opening act for Guns N’ Roses, known for its politically charged messaging.
