The last trailer ahead the final season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead has finally dropped and it is chock full of post-apocalyptic zombie goodness. This will be the final chapter in the now-hardened Clementine’s story and is sure to be an emotional rollercoaster to close out the beloved series. For the players who’ve stuck around since season one, many of their choices and sacrifices have been leading up to this dramatic close.

Telltale’s description for The Walking Dead: The Final Season is as follows:

“Clementine, now a fierce and capable survivor, has reached the final chapter in her journey. After years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be her chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice. Clem must build a life and become a leader while still watching over AJ, an orphaned boy and the closest thing to family she has left. In this gripping, emotional final season, you will define your relationships, fight the undead, and determine how Clementine’s story ends.”

The Walking Dead

The first episode of the season, entitled “Done Running”, will be available to download next Tuesday, August 14th, and you can pre-order the entire season for $19.99 right now. A demo containing the first 15 minutes of the episode is available to play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
