Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna alleged Neville Roy Singham funneled more than $780 million into political and grassroots organizations. During an interview, she said those groups worked with Democratic Socialists. Luna also said the Justice Department was investigating Singham and convening a grand jury.
The remarks came during a discussion about whether Democratic and socialist support was growing organically. The interviewer asked Luna what she saw behind that movement.
Luna rejected the idea that the activity was organic. She said the department had announced a “full-fledged” investigation earlier this year. She also said officials were convening a grand jury on Singham.
Luna described Singham as a tycoon living in China. She claimed he had funneled over $780 million into political and grassroots organizations. According to Luna, those organizations were working “hand-in-hand with the Democrat Socialists.”
She described Singham as a “devout and proclaimed Marxist and Socialist.” Luna said the alleged funding showed the activity was “not organic in any way, shape, or form.”
She said the DSA supported wealth redistribution and abolishing the Senate. Luna also claimed its platform worked “hand-in-hand” with the Communist Chinese Party. She further alleged DSA associates in New York City had familial ties to Singham.
Anna Paulina Luna Faces Pushback Over Neville Singham $780M Claim
The claims prompted skepticism about Luna’s characterization of the money alongside calls for further investigation.
“The investigation is real. So why inflate it? Singham sold his company for ~785M. That doesn’t mean he funneled 780M into political groups. And a direct pipeline bankrolling Dem Socialist candidates hasn’t been established,” one user wrote.
Another response stated, “You forgot that he hasn’t been charged with anything. These are allegations.”
A separate user wrote, “@RepLuna should be explaining why those Epstein files haven’t been released. No one cares about her CCP fantasies.”
Another said, “Yeah I don’t trust this woman anymore! She’s not doing anything for America.”
Other users called for scrutiny of the alleged funding. “Foreign money + Marxism = not ‘grassroots.’ Good. Investigate every dollar,” one wrote.
Another stated, “This must be stopped. This is foreign intervention in our elections. !!!”
The interview did not establish whether the investigation or grand jury process had produced charges.
