Georgia Sen. Jon Ossoff accused Rep. Mike Collins of having ties to white nationalism and neo-Nazi ideology. He pointed to new Washington Post reporting about another Collins staff member depicted with swastikas and a Klan costume. Ossoff said the report added to earlier concerns involving people connected to Collins’ office and business.
A video of Ossoff’s remarks circulated on X. He described the latest development as “yet more documented evidence” involving Collins.
Ossoff referenced what he described as a neo-Nazi propagandist based at Collins’ house who produced content for his business. He also accused Collins’ office of briefing prominent white supremacists supporting a Holocaust denier.
He then pointed to the newly reported staff member and said Georgia voters across party lines reject such associations.
“The state of Georgia rejects hatred,” Ossoff said.
He continued, “The state of Georgia rejects bigotry. The state of Georgia rejects neo-nazism. The state of Georgia rejects the Klan.”

That declaration quickly became part of the response, as critics turned Ossoff’s own language toward his positions on Israel and Gaza.
“Does the state of Georgia reject genocide in Gaza?” one user asked. Another questioned, “Does he reject AIPAC and Zionism?”
A separate response stated, “But apparently, Ossoff doesn’t reject AIPAC money and has jumped on the anti Muslim train, so not all bigotry and hatred.”
Another asked, “Does the state of Georgia reject Islamophobia? Ossoff made up accusations of antisemitism to invalidate a loud critic of the Palestinian genocide.”
Other users supported Ossoff’s attack on Collins. One wrote, “Wise bold move by @Ossoff. A no brainer but it comes with an immediate and predictable backlash. One step back 10 steps forward.”
Another stated, “Georgia can and should stand firmly against that stuff.”
The exchange left Ossoff’s criticism of Collins competing with renewed scrutiny of his own positions on Israel, Gaza and AIPAC.
