A California father was confronted at his home by a woman who complained about his children making too much noise while playing with their dog in the backyard. The encounter happened around 7 p.m., according to the family, but the woman continued to object to the children’s noise and eventually threatened to call the police.
The night-vision porch camera footage shows the woman standing outside the home and asking the father, “Are your kids okay?” He tells her they are fine, but she complains that they are “screaming like maniacs.” When he explains that they are playing with the dog, she says the family does not want to listen to the noise and asks him to tell the children to keep it down.
The woman then takes the complaint further by asking, “They sound like… are they autistic or something?” The father tells her that they are not and asks her to leave. She responds by saying she can call the police.
The father tells her to go ahead, but the exchange continues until the woman says a curse word and storms off.
The video was shared on TikTok by Monica Yanez (we’ve embedded a separate one above for ease of viewing). In the caption, she explained that it was 7 p.m. and that her children were simply playing with their dogs. She also praised her husband for how calmly he handled the encounter, adding that the family had been dealing with the same situation for a year.
