A woman in California, fed up with her daughter getting harassed at school, decided to confront the bully’s mother in a parking lot. The mother refused to take any accountability and told her she was not allowed to approach her. She, in turn, said her daughter would fight back, even saying the school principal was aware of her instructions.
The confrontation was shared online by Khaviae. She is a content creator who often posts lifestyle and family clips, often featuring her daughter. The clip attached above went on to become her biggest one to date, garnering 2.8 million views, 451,500 likes, and more than 12,000 comments.
The California woman, recording the pavement and her feet, walked up to the accused bully’s mother and confronted her about the situation. From the get-go, Khaviae told the mother her daughter was placing her hands on her daughter. However, the other mom refused to engage, telling her she was “not supposed to be” approaching her.
“Okay, but I don’t care about that,” Khaviae said. “[…] Why does your daughter keep feeling the need to put her hands on my kid?“
A Warning
The back-and-forth appeared to be going nowhere. The other mother kept telling Khaviae she could talk to the school and repeated that she was not supposed to be approaching her. Khaviae, meanwhile, kept asking for an explanation for the alleged bullying. Eventually, Khaviae gave the other woman a warning.
“The next time your daughter places her hand on my child… I gave my daughter the okay to beat your child,” she said. “Because I’m not gonna tolerate your kid placing her hands on my child.”
Other kids had also been beaten up by her daughter, Khaviae said. Then, she revealed she had already talked to the school principal, informing them of the “fight back” instructions she gave her daughter.
Reactions
The confrontation sparked many responses, mostly from viewers who believed the California mother was doing the right thing. One said, “Press charges if the mom won’t do anything about it.” Another one commented, “There is literally no law that says you cannot approach someone.”
Other viewers bashed the other mother’s response to being confronted. One wrote, “Proof parents don’t parent anymore.” Another one asked, “What kind of parent would allow this?“
In a follow-up and in the comments, Khaviae revealed that the school wasn’t planning on doing anything about the situation.
